Frank Countess concentrates his practice in the areas of business law, commercial transactions, real estate law and estate planning and administration. He is a licensed title insurance agent and Chair of CGA Law Firm's Real Estate Practice Group.
In 2002, Frank was recognized by the Central Pennsylvania Business Journal as one of the Forty Under 40, an award given to outstanding young business leaders throughout the region, who share a commitment to professional excellence and the community. He has also served as a mentor to other young professionals and participated in the judging committee for this honor in 2004 and 2005. He is a volunteer and supporter of numerous not-for-profit organizations located in York and also sits on the Board of Directors for a number of civic and charitable organizations. He is an advocate and supporter of economic development in downtown York and has been involved in various public and private projects aimed at revitalizing our city. A life-long resident of York, he is both passionate about and vested in the community.
Frank is particularly gifted in bringing his knowledge and expertise in various areas of law together to assist high net worth individuals, wage earners and business owners in handling a wide array of legal issues both in professional and personal matters. He is skilled in helping such individuals understand a "big picture" perspective on legal matters that affect them and their assets, including estate planning and tax matters, real estate acquisition and liquidation, succession planning, formation of business entities, contractual matters, etc. He works closely with CGA attorneys in other practices, such as litigation, employment law, bankruptcy and workouts and family law to meet his clients' needs. Above all, he is committed to developing an intimate knowledge and full understanding of his clients' businesses, allowing him to serve as a trusted advisor in any legal matter they may face.
